For best results you go QTGMC, Alchemist software or Tachyon. It was never a proper frame rate converter either. The whole marketing of the hardware is very misleading from my experience with it. And if there are interlaced text inserts the Teranex is very bad. While Yadif does a pretty good job at catching most interlaced lines my Teranex quite often just misses the interlacing all together. I do own a Teranex and it's deinterlacing capabilities in my opinion are worse than Yadif. (2): as in 0.7 FPS ish on 720x576 frame size My best quality code is Code: Select all -vf "nnedi=nnedi3_weights.bin:deint=all:field=a:deint=all:nsize=s48圆:nns=n256:qual=slow:pscrn=none" I created and tested the templates with Staxrip 2.1.7 but they might work up to version 2.5 Just saw the latest Staxrip 2.6 might break old templates (sigh). That means it will look a bit washed out but you can apply a slight contrast curve back later on. Two presets for SD footage with deinterlacing to 50p and denoising into ProRes:īoth templates do convert the luma range so you do not lose any superwhite/superblack information. ![]() ![]() It should pretty much work out of the box but some versions can be picky. ![]() Its possible to share your starxrip program if everything is configured? Im still investigating before choosing which deinterlace is the best as im trying to recover old family tapes recorded in consumer camera PAL and convert into actual i didnt found anything about starip, do you know any video source tutorial for seeing? maybe its easy than the video i shared. This is the video i saw and seems to be very powerful when deintelacing. Mads Johansen wrote:Could you link a few of the videos?
